The 'Thompson' jacket is a classic double-breasted blue blazer with two working buttons and one blind button. Cut from a lightweight navy, woollen cloth from Harrison's of Edinburgh the jacket is both breathable and structured, yet will not crease. This renders the jacket especially versatile, which is only enhanced by the classic styling of peak lapels with the two-working/one-blind button, double breasted construction. Though not typical of a three-button and double-breasted jacket, we have opted for a double vent at the rear to reduce the formality and promote a comfortable feel to jacket. We think this means the jacket will look just as good at Henley Regatta with a pair of flannel trousers, as it will unbuttoned and with a pair of jeans for an off-duty look. Of course, should you favour a traditional, smarter look with metal, or club-issue buttons we would happily assist in swapping out the matte grey horn buttons for your choice. 

All Regent jackets are cut from a block that has been refined over many years, and this jacket (slightly wider peak lapels than typical for Regent) retains the key features of our classic shape. The side seams are tailored to be a touch narrow for a contemporary, but comfortable silhouette. The slightly roomier than typical armholes allow for an ease of movement, but are compensated by slim arms and a shorter jacket length to maintain the smart, modern look. If you already have a Regent jacket then take your usual size.
