Vetra uses a French sizing system which is different from the UK one you might be used to: please see below.

Sizing starts at 42, which is Small, and goes up in twos corresponding with S, M, L.

So a Vetra 42 is S, a 44 is M, a 46 is L and a 48 is XL, etc.

We recommend, if you are on the cusp between sizes, that Vetra is best worn a little baggier, so hop up a size if in doubt.

It’s worth noting that, in general, if the garment you’re buying is a big investment and you’re sitting between sizes then it’s worth erring on the side of caution and getting a slightly larger size, so that you can always fit it. There’s nothing more likely to put you off wearing something day in, day out if it’s always slightly too small or tight.
