The Ivy League look has had an enormous influence on the fashion industry and remains one of the most distinguished styles around today. At its heart is the desire to present oneself as ready to engage with big ideas and move the world forward – two principles commonly associated with the group of elite American colleges (such as Harvard, Yale and Princeton) from which the fashion takes its name.
